Yellow Wood is always on the lookout for a hardworking, outdoors loving, customer focused individual to work with us. We’re a lean team that feels more like a family than colleagues most days. We ARE currently hiring right now, and we’re looking for someone to work between 25-30 hours per week. Availability on two Saturdays per month is required. Who makes a great candidate, you ask?
Commitment to delivering excellent customer service. You’d be welcoming our customers into the shop and assisting them with identifying solutions for their upcoming outdoor adventures.
Someone with some product knowledge - or willingness to learn. You’ll have access to both online and in-person education about the technical aspects of the brands, gear, and apparel we carry. Once you’re trained, you’ll need to be comfortable making appropriate recommendations based on customer needs.
Ability to support inventory management efforts. As part of your role, you’ll assist with stocking and organizing the shop.
Collaborative. Being a team player is critical!
A love for the outdoors is a major plus!
